Are we all in store for much more lag in multiplayer games? Or did they figure it out? Can they finally give us the cannonball tower that we all quote: They told us they cannon ball tower worked the weird way it does because they couldn't do the physics involved with bouncing projectiles. Lunar Portal Staff may have a unique effect, Haddad said it was cool but it wasn't shown. ![]() North Pole has a unique effect, spawning projectiles that snow down from the main projectile Most of them pierce multiple enemies (i believe this works like the Squire's Harpoon defense - the projectile passes through the first target and hits enemies behind it), bounce off of one or more surfaces, deal bonus damage, or any combination of these 3 effects. ![]() Overall these weapons all have very similar effects. In the devstream the highest we saw was 22% bonus damage Chlorophyte Arrows - Fires a column of Chlorophyte Arrows that deal X% bonus magical earth damage and may reflect off one surface. In the dev stream we only saw it with pierces 5 enemies Jester Arrows - Fires a column of Jester Arrows that pierce up to X targets. The highest Y on the stream appears to be 50%.The highest X I could make out on the stream was, I think 2. ![]() This was only on screen for a flash and the video quality is not good enough to make out the full description. Terra Blade - Once per second, Terra Blade fires an that pierces up to X targets dealing Y% Hero Damage as magical damage. When it hits a 3rd enemy or reaches the 2nd surface it will end The grammar is a little off on this description, but judging by how the rest of these weapons have been going, I think it bounces off one surface. Highest Y we saw on devstream was 3 targets.Shadowflame Dagger - Secondary Attacks hurl a Shadowflame Dagger dealing X% Hero Damage as magical damage and will bounce hit up to Y targets. It sounds like if you shoot this above a straight line of enemies it will snow down on them dealing damage to the whole wave instead of just the target that got hit by it. Highest X we saw on devstream was 2 enemies. As it travels, it drops snowy projectiles that deal the same amount of damage. North Pole - Secondary Attacks fire a copy of the North Pole that pierces X enemies and slows them by Y% for Zs. Does it do 80% when it hits an enemy, and 40% in an AoE where it bounces off a surface? I don't quite understand this description. Projectiles explode on any impact dealing Z% Ability Power as magical damage. Meowmere - Once per second, Primary Attacks fire the piercing Meowmere projectile dealing X% Ability Power as magical damage and reflecting off surfaces for Y hits. So it pierces one additional target and has one bounce where most other weapons pierce multiple targets, bounce multiple times, or deal AOE damage. It fires 8 shots per second, but we know that damage will be scaled down so that DPS stays relatively the same. This one seems pretty underwhelming compared to the others. ![]() Meteor Bullets - Rapidly fires Meteor Bullets that pierce one additional target or reflect off one surface for X% damage. Haddad said you can build something with it, so it will be similar to the Ghastly Halberd. This is the only weapon sold by the Wayfarer that was not shown on the devsteam. I will try to see it again when the video goes up on YouTube, where I can slow it down, instead of relying on Twitch's past broadcast video player. The tooltip faded away before it fully came into focus.
